• The Teltonika BTSMP1 EYE Sensor is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device equipped with a range of features, including temperature and humidity monitoring, accelerometer-based motion detection, and magnetic sensing.

2 Cargo Area Temperature Monitoring and Alert Configuration

• The BTSMP1 is capable of accurately measuring temperature, making it ideal for monitoring cargo area conditions. Alerts can be configured to notify of any deviations from the desired range.

3 Door Opening Detection and Alerts

• With its integrated magnetic sensor, the device can detect door openings. Alerts can be set up for unauthorised access, enhancing vehicle safety and monitoring.

4 Tracking of High-Value, Power-Independent Equipment

• Thanks to its built-in long-life battery, the BTSMP1 is suitable for monitoring power-independent assets, such as high-value machinery or components.

5 Wireless Connection to logiGPS FIX 03 and Location Display

• The sensor uses BLE technology and is fully compatible with Teltonika GPS devices. When within range of a GPS tracker, its position can be displayed on the map based on the GPS location data.

Independent Operation and Battery Life

• The BTSMP1 features a built-in, non-replaceable 600 mAh battery. Battery life depends on the configured data transmission interval:

• 3-second interval: over 2.5 years

• 5-second interval (default): over 4 years

• 10-second interval: over 5 years

This sensor enables cargo temperature monitoring, door opening detection with alert setup, and tracking of power-independent equipment via BLE – all without the need for an external power source. Depending on transmission frequency, the battery lasts between 2.5 and 5 years – all without an external power supply.
